I can't wait to be a member missionary when I get home and go pick up
investigators so that the missionaries can stress a little less! You
are so amazing like that.

You and i were in the same boat last week. ha. But i'm so glad to hear
that you are relying more on your savior and staying positive! tha is
the best thing we can do!

I can't believe its already time for general conference again!!!! this
is just such an exciting time!!!!

My week has been good and hard. transferring is always hard and having
to learn an new area is hard, but things will be good. (:

Family Reunions

On saturday we had a fun activity with all three of the bacolod stakes. They had games and talents, and afterwards they set up tables, but banana leaves on them and then poured food on them. THen instead of having a plate or silverware you just grab what you can with your hands and eat(: thats the classic filippino way(: it was so much fun. (: I can't wait to make you all eat with your hands(: 

I got to see my old recent converts, and members from my previous areas. It was such a grand time! And a time of good news. There is a whole hand full of my ward missionaries from all my areas that have their mission calls and everything! it is so cool!!!! I am so happy for them. 

The work continues here in silay. This week is transfer week... I might be transfered. I don't know yet. I hope not, but its possible. I'll let you all know next week though(:

This is my sumag family(:

The one of the Sister And Brother. My companion and I were the first ones to teach them in sumag, and now they are both baptized!!!! So now in a year they can go with their children and become and eternal family!!!! 

I was on a planting mission in sumag.. cause they are now all getting harvested(:

Transfers, new companions, same amazing spirit..

Well, today was another emergency transfer! So, just to catch you up if you have been so confused.. after Sister Menguito left I got a short term companion, sister Dalisay, then she stayed for two weeks, and I got another short term... from my old area. It was so much fun to be with her! Sister Mendoza. She was only my compnaion for 5 days and now I have a full time missionary companion, sister Legaspi. She is so great, i can already tell we are going to do great things together! (: we are batch so we go home at the same time, but, I love that neither of us are trunky.. we have such great desire to get out there and work.

This week was a challenging one for me. I struggled with some kind of being sick. I'm better now, don't you worry. But it was hard to just stay in my apartment cause I was sick. I just wanted to be out working and teaching.

The thing is though... you know its hard to have a short term companion... you have all the responsibility and you basically teach everything cause she doesn't really know anything... and I think I got sick because heavenly father was trying to teach me a lesson. I make mistakes, and I sometimes just think that I can do everything on my own... but I'm not Super Missionary Sister Young.. I'm just Sister Young and I can't do anything if I don't rely on the Atonement of Jesus Christ. 

What I mean is that I am stubborn and I was trying to just do it all on my own. Not asking for the help that I knew that I needed. Why? I don't know. But I was reading in my personal study a couple of days ago in alma 7:11-13 where it talks about all the things that Christ went through for us.... and it hit me like a rock. I can do a lot of things on my own, but I can't accomplish what HE wants to be accomplished if I just try and do it myself. I learn alot, repented a lot, and now I am better. 

I know i've said this before, but the atonement is not just to us to be cleaned from our sins, but it is for us to grow, and to over come our challenges, and to become who HE knows that we can become. WE are so special to have him. 

Sister Camille got baptized this week! She is so great. I know that as she continues in the gospel and studies her testimony will grow and she will do great things in her life!

 fun at the river with sister mendoza, and then this is at the church yesterday... it was raining and its normal for when you are at your house to take your shoes off to go in, and some little kid thought the same for the chapel. Cute huh!

Family, I can't tell you how amazing it is here. I love this place, I love the gospel. I know that God lives. I know that Jesus Christ is our elder brother and that through his atonement we can be cleansed from our sins.

I know that the book of mormon is truely the word of god and that if we read it everyday we will be strengthened and it will fill our hearts with love, joy, and happiness and peace.

I'm still here, working my bootay off. ANd I love it even if it is so hard sometimes. I love you all so much!
